Sign up for my next free workshop this Wednesday (124+ ppl signed up)! You’ll learn what a portfolio career is, why so many people are gravitating toward one now, and how to get started building yours. RSVP >
I'm currently in the middle seat of a budget airline flying back to NYC from London getting ready to enter a new, busy season of full capacity both personally and professionally.
I'm moving out of NYC at the end of the month where I’ve lived for the past 5 years. I am aiming to sell 90% of my stuff, including my car, and will hopefully get all of my worldly possessions down to a couple boxes and a few suitcases.
I'm preparing to lead a small group cohort in late September for women who want to stop relying on one employer for their income and start building a portfolio career. I ran my first cohort last fall, learned a lot, and this is an evolution. I’ve already reached out to a few of you who I’ve talked to in the past that I thought would be a good fit, but if I missed you and you’re interested, reply back to this email to let me know, and I’ll send you more info.
On top of all that, I just signed with a new client where I’ll be helping them build out their events in London. I’ve been following them for a while and am excited to work with them! (will share more soon 👀). Would it be helpful to share how I am finding work in a city I’ve never lived permanently in?
From the outside, social media can make everything look easy. But I’m human, and just like all of us, I get overwhelmed.
So, if you’re entering a busy season (or in one now) where you’re juggling multiple projects, here’s how I’m handling it.
